The Patriots are in the semi-finals. They play on Saturday at 11am (Centenial Tustin Park in Tustin field 4). If they win, they play in the championship game at 1pm (field 2). FYI-call me if you need directions. Go Patriots!
Henri Matisse is one of my favorite artists too. We are studying him, and doing an art project based on two of his collages. I did some of my own Matisse collages for a trading card swap. The art festival is coming up at the end of April so I am going to get really busy with that. Hope to enter some of my own art, besides displaying all the children's art. I am planning on displaying a piece from every art student this year. I heart art.
My favorite artist right now is Teesha Moore. She does a lot of journals and altered books. I just love her art and get totally inspired by her. Someday I want to take a class from her. This is one of her journaling pages.
The Patriots had two wins again today. Emma got a single and a double. Thank you to her coaches who have really been working hard getting the team ready for the tournament. Go Patriots. I have been taking pictures for the slideshow. Happy Weekend!

We are back from Sacramento. We had a great time. We saw the capitol building and gold mines and panned for gold. The pictures are of the girls in front of a gold mine that we went inside, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Trujillo in hats (a real bobcat hat) and the group in front of Sutter's Fort. We are exhausted and will need a day to recoup.
When I got home the kids wanted to get wet so they played in the sprinkler out front. They cooled off and had a little fun. Love the weather and the time change. Spring is here. Grandma and Grandpa hope you are having nice weather too.
