Seeing Stars

I made a bit of art today inspired by Roc's atc she sent me of a star. I also have been inspired by the b&w swap and the flickr groups I am participating in. I will try and add a link to my flickr photos on the right.

Treasures

I found these treasures at the plaza today, during the street fair. It was a good day for treasures and the shops were cool so it was nice to get out of the heat of the street fair.

This is for the sweet and sinister swap, I bought 2, one for me.

This, I just had to have, cuz it was only a buck. Jill was bummed that I saw it first, so I'll give it to her for her birthday, maybe.


This is an ornament with a little shaker box in the back. Just cute, I'll find something to do with it.

This was also an ornament, I'll do something with it I'm sure, or it will end up on my tree.

Street Fair

We overcame the heat this Labor Day weekend and had to go to the International Street Fair in Orange. It was hot, but we had lots of water and frozen lemonade to go with our Ableskivers. I found some good buys at a few of the stores down town too, so all and all it was fun. We hung out in the air conditioned thrift store and gathered up stuff. I'll post some of my treasure finds next. Thanks for looking.

Fall Start

I made this cute board book for a display at the Red Bee. I used coasters from eating out a few weeks ago. I love fall and I am looking forward to decorating my tree with pumpkin ATCs. I will definately take a picture of it when it is done. I went back to work today, it was nice to see everyone. Tomorrow I get to learn a new computer program with grading and lesson plans. Then this weekend is the start of the softball games. Looking forward to it. School starts in 7 days!

few fav layouts

Here are just a few of my favorite layouts I did on the cruise this weekend. The suitcase that I brought for scrapbooking was bigger than the one with my clothes in it. Glad to be back and getting back into the routine of things. Back to work tomorrow. Looking forward to being creative with my students.

Back from the Sea

Just got back from the sea, Maureen, Karyn, Stasy and I went on a 3 day cruise to Mexico. It was a scrap-cruise with the Red Bee. I was very productive and got almost 40 pages done. what a blast.
