I scrapped on Sunday at the Red Bee with friends. Here are a few layouts and my heart garland. Pumped right now about being creative. I went to the Craft and Hobbies Convention today. Going back tomorrow. So much to see.

More Gifts

Just a few more gifts to share. The snowman was made by my kindergarten teacher-friend Jill, she did this with her class and made and extra for me. She also gave me the happy birthday sign and the flower that is a photo/jewelry holder. The little cupcake was from Pete. He always comes to the superbowl party bearing gifts. So cute. I love birthdays.

water color journal

I started this water color journal a while ago, not sure if I've shared it. I haven't had time to paint. Been busy around here with life stuff. Just trying to get done what needs to get done. Not much time for being creative, though I wish I was. My craft/art room is all pushed to the side, because of superbowl sunday. I haven't had a chance to get anything back out. I should take a picture of it, cuz it's really neat and organized at the moment. Not for long....

{Jack/Mail}

I was playing around with my blog banner and came up with this new one. Not sure if I really like it, so it might not be here for very long. Jack got a haircut, so he doesn't look like this any more. I should do a before and after, cuz he looks like a cold skinny little thing now. The other picture is of the envelopes I received for the mixed media heart atc swap. I will be swappin them out on Friday. Can't wait, although it will be a huge job, cuz there are 80 people in the swap. What are you up to?

I scanned this picture yesterday. I am getting pictures ready of the fifth grade girls for the mother/daughter tea coming up in April. We have a speaker come to talk to the girls about puberty. Seems just yesterday I took this picture. It's one of my favorites. Time flies, when you're having fun.....

1. I was a gymnast and used to do arials on the balance beam.

2. When I was 22 I had my nose pierced. It lasted about a year. My grandfather called me a pygmy.

I don't think I posted these yet. I scrapped at the Bee last Friday, it was a busy weekend. I got a few layouts done. I had fun chatting with Denise and listening to all the scrap talk. The Craft and Hobbies Association Convention is coming up in February. I am super excited about going. I will see all the latest scrapbooking/art trends. I hope to get really inspired. It was at last year's show that I learned what artist trading cards were. Now I'm hooked.
