Look who got some journal pages done today. I just had four left to do in the swap that I am participating in, so I got a wild hair and decided to make some progress on them. My students must have inspired me. The next few pics are of the art fair we had on Fri night at school. We sold the frames and part of the proceeds went to the school so it was a fund raiser as well. My students all did self portraits. They came out so good.

Been so busy I haven't had time to think. I made a huge list of things that I needed to get done and I still have two left to do. And they are the biggest two. Just need some chunks of time to sit down and focus. Just a week and a half til summer vacation. Can't wait.

Worked on this tonight. Feeling a little creative, and feeling the need to get working on this project that I have been just thinking about for a long time. Feels good to get going on it. Also, had to watch American Idol tonight. There were so many cool bands on, Emma kept asking me, who's that? Who's Kiss? Who's Queen? Who's Lionel Richie? I kept answering, "they're from the 80's" which dated me a bit.

Went through some of my old atcs this morning. These stood out to me. I think I identified with the pain in the faces, but I have been told, from pain, comes growth and it can only make me stronger. So bring it on.
