Doily Swag

Saw something similar at a craft fair, and almost bought one, but knew I had doilies at home in the old trunk.  Bought bias tape and cut the doilies with a straight edge and tucked them into the bias tape and sewed.  Love the wintery, and summery feel.  Perfect for the front window.

Creatively Sidetracked

Feeling creatively side tracked isn't such a bad thing, except when you only have a few short days left of vacation an a million things left to do.

Ugly Christmas Sweaters

I can't believe the thrift stores are charging an arm and a leg for ugly Christmas sweaters.  So I made my own with a little felt, yarn and felt balls.

Luke 2:11. Today, in the town of David a savior has been born to you.  He is Christ The Lord.  These were a lot of fun and came out really good.  

Doily Snowmen

I love just giving the kids the pieces and giving the the freedom of creativity.  I love how they all look so different even with the same parts.  Let it snow!

Nut Crackers

Do your kids even know what a nut cracker is?  How about a halo?  We have had discussions about these things in the art room.  What a blessing to learn about these Christmas symbols and be creative in the process.  

Christmas Art

I've been feeling so creative this Christmas season.  We have been pumping out the Christmas art from the art room.  Looking forward to more winter art after vacation.
