Vacation

It is now, summer vacation! Looking forward to sleeping in, and hanging around the house. Looking forward too, to exploring Southern California. I have a few fieldtrips I want to take. Definately going to check out a few museums, libraries, and thriftstores. Where are you going this summer?

ATCs

Just some new ATCs for trade. I got inspired by another artist and thought I would try a technique with the sewing machine. Got a lot done at the Red Bee on Friday night. I was there with Jill who was making a paperbag scrapbook for each one of her kindergarten students. Are you done Jill? Let me know if you need more help. She used about 10 glue sticks.

Softball Weekend

It was a softball weekend. The Tustin Silver2 team played 6 games total to win the Tustin AllStart Romp. They were on a roll and there was no stopping them. Awesome job girls and coaches!

Time to regroup and back to school for just 2.5 more days. Looking forward to the end.

The jr. highers made an art scrapbook for their last project. Here is a picture of some of them. I am going to miss my eighth grade class. It has been a great year. We played pictionary today and had a lot of fun.

Just wanted to post some artwork from this year. I can't believe there are only a few days left of school. We have had a lot of fun in art this year.

This picture is from the field today in Placentia. It was a rough day on the field, but Emma had fun. I found a cute letter about the "typical softball parent" here if anyone is interested. It talks about how much time and energy we put into our softball players, only wanting the best for them.
