black and white

Gearing up for the Black and White swap, I found some great photos on google for inspiration. I love black and white together with no other hue. I think it's really dramatic.

Hellow friendly blog readers. I have been out of town lately, not near my trusty computer to upload great art pictures. I will be back in a few days and hope to share some great vacation pics. I think I even missed a Sunday Postcard Challenge. I am looking forward to the Sweet and Sinister Swap and checking out that blog often. Be back soon. Here is a stock photo from the computer. It was either this one or one of a total stranger flexing his muscles. I opted for this one.

back from the wilderness

I am back from the wilderness, needless to say I didn't get much art done, so I have only have pics to show. I don't get very inspired when surrounded by dirt and fish, but I love taking pictures of the kids. I did manage to get a few postcards done in the trailer, so I will post them next time. Don't the kids look happy catching fish?

creative roll

Just a few more post cards I made today for trades. I found a bunch of collage items that I have been holding onto, so it was fun to be able to use them to make a whole new piece of art.

Just some pics that represent July Fourth here in Orange. Snow cones, bubble blowing contests, jumpy slides, block parties, bike parades, BBQs all mean July to us.

Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July to everyone out there in blogland. I haven't uploaded my pics yet so here are some really cute vintage post cards that would be really cute in a project. I personally didn't do any July Fourth projects this year, but I can always get a head start on next year's decorations, right?

Scraps

This is a page for Maureen's scrapbook. I went by the Bee to say hi to her last week and I didn't have any supplies with me so she let me scrap a page for her while I hung out and chatted.

and these were for the colorful stylized portrait swap on Illustrated ATCs. I already mailed them. I haven't done much else lately, still recovering from the end of the all star softball season. Emma's team went to the quarter finals in the last tournament. It was a great season.
