Okay, the name I drew for the house hanger rak was Tamy. Yay Tamy! Glad to hear I am not the only one with cellphone issues. Hoping to have a new one soon. Email me with your addy and I'll send that off to you (jennniferalee@sbcglobal.net). So busy this week, but hope to be caught up on things by Friday.

and a couple more eggs for the swap. I am making them every chance I get. I actually took down my Valentines garland and put up an egg one instead. I so can't wait for spring. Have I said that already?

I bought some new albums last night to hold my scrapbooking pages. I think I am done with creative memories, and I hate the postbound albums so I am going to try the three ring binder types. These are by Pebbles Inc and they are black leather and they hold a lot of pages, also they have pages that you can just slip photos into without having to do a layout.
Still working on some eggs, let me know if you have made any, I want to see them and get inspired. I am so ready for Easter, which reminds me I need to take down the Valentine decor.
and this is my cell phone, can you tell where it is. This has been my morning. Maureen you are not alone with the cell phone shenanigans, I can relate.
and if you are still with me at this point in my blog rantings, this is a RAK give away. Leave a comment and I'll draw a name on Tuesday and I'll mail the winner this cardboard house hanger. It has space in the middle to add a picture. If you have washed your cell phone let me know and I'll put your name in twice. Knowing I am not alone will, I am sure, make me feel better, until I get the the cingular store and find out how much it will be for a new one.
Happy Bicentennial Birthday Abe. It was Abe Lincoln day at school yesterday. This is Emma in her Nick Jonas wig and Abe Lincoln get up, posing with the lovelies, Mrs. Whitsell and Ms. Abe Slazas.
and sent to me with some lovely dresses was this hostess gift for the dress swap from Robin Sanchez, you can see her creations here. Her art is amazing.
and isn't Oliver getting big. He is such a good dog. Emma says he is her favorite puppy, and Jack is her favorite dog.
and lastly and most importantly, yesterday was Abe Lincoln day, but today is pancake day. Thanks for the yummy breakfast Henry. So much for the biggest loser.

Gee I wish spring would come. I am tired of all the rain storms we have had lately. We have another one coming this weekend. I want the grass to grow in the back yard and I want to put up this spring canvas I made last year, and I want to put away all my black shoes.

Whimsy Houses on a Rainy Day

Happy Birthday Abe Lincoln. I get to celebrate it by having a day off. Only its rainy out so I've stayed in and done a little art and gave two dogs a bath. These are atcs that aren't finished yet, they need a bit more, another layer, maybe of doodling. Not sure. Any ideas for whimsy houses on a rainy day?

Been working on these for a bingo card swap. We took a bingocard scan and put in on heavy card stock and then altered it with collage and stamps. They are 3.5 by 5 inches.
Also, my friend Harriet was thinking about doing a dress atc swap, so I tried making a 2.5X3.5 dress that would fix into an atc sleeve. Not as easy as it looks. Still thinking about it.
Working on my avatar for Easter.
This is Harriet's dress that she sent me, I think to get me inspired.
...and... this is a postcard I started a while back and never finished. I love th whimsyness of it and the bright colors. What are you working on? I will be watching softball all day, maybe I can take some supplies with me to the field and be creative there? Don't know if collage and softball mix much.

Heart Boxes

And the anticipation mounts as we get ready for school the day before Valentine's Day. The kids have decorated their shoe boxes and have wrote their name on 25 valentines to pass out in class. I put these together for the teachers and filled them up with post-its, gum, paperclips and the like. Better than chocolate for a teacher. Happy Valentine's Day Eve. Hope you get something special.

swappin dresses

I started swappin the dresses last night, I think there are a few more sets coming in. Hopefully I'll get them in the mail today. This was really fun to coordinate them by color and style. The garlands are going to look awesome. Thanks to those who participated, it won't be long before you get your garland back.

Can't believe we are well into February. I love Valentine's day projects, but there doesn't see much time to get very many done. This is a project I do with the kids at school, with markers on the heart and black contruction paper mosaic on the outside. Hurry get your heart art done.
