Tagged, You're .....

I've been tagged - you may be next!
Donna Salazar from the Red Bee tagged me today and I have to post 7 random facts about me.
Here are the rules for this tag:

1. Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog (see Donna's link above)
2. Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs (OMG! 7 is a lot of people... Please love me still even if I'm tagging you)
4. Let each person know that they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Random Fact #1 I have been to a WWF wrestling match and sat in the first row, while sweat and spit went flying from the ring.

Random Fact #2 I have only flown in an airplane once in the past 10 years, fear I guess. I'd rather drive. I did fly to Sacramento with the 4th graders last year, but that was it.

Random Fact #3- I used to do arial cartwheels on the balance beam and hold records in that event at my high school.
Random Fact #4- I hate scarry movies.

Random Fact #5- My first cat's name was Spike and he ruled the neighborhood. He was black and had a tail of all about 3 inches.

Radom Fact #6 I love to blog, but hate writing about myself.

Random Fact #7- I wish I could yodel like Jesse the yodeling cowgirl.

Thanks Donna! Watch out, you may be next.

These are the lucky bloggers I have tagged. I am short 2 so you might be next--

Kari, Jill, Alison,Laura and Laume. Thanks for humoring me girls! It's late, I'm going to b e d....

October 28th

One more post for today, but this one is actually for tomorrow. Tomorrow Preston and I will celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Wow! it has flown by. Can't believe we are old married folk. It's been fun looking at these wedding pictures and thinking about this special day, 12 years ago. Love ya Preston.

What up?

This is a new rolo for the rolodex swap on atcards.com. I made some last night while the kids watched "Chicken Little" which is a very cute movie. I also got up early and finished an album I am making for a cousin of a cousin. I just need to buy some more page protectors for it and add them and it's done. Today we are going across the street to carve pumkins, watch for pictures to come. We will be going to "Light the Night" at Calvary Church on Wednesday and the Fall Festival on St. John's next weekend, so watch for some fall celebration pictures to follow.

The Red Bee is having their Gallery Event tonight, so I am going to pop over there and see how my trading cards did in the contest and look over the silent auction items. That's what's up. What up with you?

Garage Sales

I went garage sailing (sp) today with Stan and Merrilee, but didn't find much more than a book and a frame. But yesterday on the way to school, Emma and I stopped at a great sale that had lots of vintage Christmas decor. We were almost late for school, but these are what I found. Looking forward to the holidays.

Go Red Sox

We have adopted the Red Sox, since the Angels are out of it. Go Red Sox!

Birthday Page

I got these cool chipboard stickers by Me and My Big Ideas, and I made this fun birthday page for Emma. Her birthday was last month, but I had to share it. I will be displaying this page at the Red Bee. I also did a Christmas Chipboard book for display, but I am still working on it. More to come.

Funky Art

Feeling a little funky artness. I have been so busy this week, but things are slowing down with the fires. The kids can't have sports practices because of the air quality around here. So what would normally be a busy Wednesday after school is turning out to be free. Maybe I'll have time to finish a few projects, and start some new ones. What has your week been like? What are you working on?

ATC winner

I drew a name and Laura is the winner of the bee atc. Email me your address (jenniferalee@sbcglobal.net)and I'll buzz it to you. These are some rolodex cards to trade on atcards.com. I went to the Red Bee tonight and posted a board with my favorite atcs on it in their gallery. I love going to the Red Bee, I get so inspired. I bought some flat clear marbles, can't wait to alter them. I might make magnets or embellishments for scrapbook pages, or both.

atc give-away

Laura said that I should do another atc give away, so here it is: This is my latest atc. I love this little bee woman. Leave a comment about what inspires you lately and I'll draw a name from the comments from this post on Friday. Maybe this bee will be flying to your house.

altered organizer

I found this wooden organizer at a thrift store a couple of days ago, and I painted it then papered it with the new MOD paper line. Now I can fill it up with paper and markers. I should have taken a before picture, cuz it looks a lot better.

layouts

These are my latest layouts for the Red Bee. I posted them there yesterday. The isles are really filling up with design team layouts. The store looks great.

Black and Orange

This is what I have been working on the last couple of nights. Inspired by Kris Hurst and her cute things on her blog. Avoiding other things.

atcs

Just had to post, because I haven't in a while. No new pics, though I am working on a few things. Just been busy with the kids practices and games and all. I love that the weather is cooling off. It really gets me in the fall/winter mode. I need to works on Christmas stuff for Mistletoe Mall, but I am caught up in the October holiday. I'll post soon.

This is fun. My jr. higher's are painting egg cartons for a project. They are working on pattern in art, so we are creating circle patterns in bright colors. Next we will add small text to make our art say something. These look awesome. Can't wait to hang them up. They remind me of Chuck Close's art.

Awesome Mail Day

It was an awesome mail day today. I got home from work and this is what was waiting for me at the door.

Mona Lisa cards from the Mona Lisa atc swap at atcards.com, love them, and:

This cool tin house card made by Roc Nicholas. I love this. I need to try this technique. Sooooo cool! and:

all this cool Sweet and Sinister stuff from the S&S swap on artsy mama's blog. Tricia from Vintage Bliss was my swap partner and she really took care of me. I love the little hanging pumpkins and the sign and trick or treat bag. I especially like the pumpkin head figure. More to add to my tree. What did you get in the mail?

eye candy

Just sharing some pics I have saved on my computer. Just some eye candy for October. Can't believe it's here already. Happy October. Hope you find lots of inspiration in it. I have been sick this weekend, so not much creativity happening here. I hope to bounce back quick though, cuz there is so much to do. What are you working on? Anything inspiring? I can always use inspiration.
