Look who got some journal pages done today. I just had four left to do in the swap that I am participating in, so I got a wild hair and decided to make some progress on them. My students must have inspired me. The next few pics are of the art fair we had on Fri night at school. We sold the frames and part of the proceeds went to the school so it was a fund raiser as well. My students all did self portraits. They came out so good.

Been so busy I haven't had time to think. I made a huge list of things that I needed to get done and I still have two left to do. And they are the biggest two. Just need some chunks of time to sit down and focus. Just a week and a half til summer vacation. Can't wait.

Worked on this tonight. Feeling a little creative, and feeling the need to get working on this project that I have been just thinking about for a long time. Feels good to get going on it. Also, had to watch American Idol tonight. There were so many cool bands on, Emma kept asking me, who's that? Who's Kiss? Who's Queen? Who's Lionel Richie? I kept answering, "they're from the 80's" which dated me a bit.

One of my favorite atcs from early trading, that I kept because I liked it so much. What have you done that you have kept, couldn't trade or sell.

Well I got busy today and made some bracelets for the etsy shop. If you are interested in one click here. There is also still one kit left for the easter egg garland.

Went through some of my old atcs this morning. These stood out to me. I think I identified with the pain in the faces, but I have been told, from pain, comes growth and it can only make me stronger. So bring it on.

Freeze

Just had to share this one too. Wish I could just freeze them so they will stay this way forever.

No art for the weary this last weekend. It was an extreme sports weekend in which I enjoyed watching the kids in their elements. Hope you enjoyed your weekend too.

an almost clean craft room

I have been straightening and organizing for weeks and purging too, after hoarding for a really long time. Been sharing about it so I hhought I would show the proof in the pics.

Here is a pic of some of my student's artwork that will be on display for open house tomorrow night. They made suitcases and designed all the travel stickers of places they have been or would like to go,....
