Monas in the Mail

Got these in the mail yesterday from an altered Mona swap. I love them all. The one on the left is from Roc, middle Mandy, and the right is from Angelika. Thanks ladies.

Counting the days til I go back to work. Thinking about all the things I need to get done before I have no time to do any of them, and yet being creative is of course foremost in my mind. Wish there were about 30 hours in each day.

Wow, just two weeks left before my summer vacation comes to an end. Can't believe school is just around the corner. It's been a good summer. The flipflops have been mailed back so it won't be long before you get them. Hope you make a garland out of them and hang them up in remembrance of the great summer you have had too. Thanks for playing. Who's doing the fall/halloween swap?

Matroyshka Dolls

I was at the fair a couple of weeks ago with Jill and she was looking at the Matroyshka nesting dolls. Then I was looking at Roc's blog and found out about a swap of them happening, so I couldn't resist. Here are mine.

Just some atcs I made while on vacation in Catalina. I took a bag full of scraps, ink, a couple of stamps and scissors and glue. I love mixed collage. It's my far most favorite medium.

It has flew by, but it's been fun and that is what matters most.

Went to the Red Bee the other night and found the new Cosmo Cricket papers and some felt Alphas, and created a layout with one of my favorite pics from Park City. Haven't been very creative lately, with the kids off for the summer I find I am doing lots of mom and me activities that don't involve alone time in the art/scrap room. That's okay, they'll be grown and gone, before I know it. Enjoy it while it lasts!
