I've been hitting all the thrift stores around town buying silver trays to spray paint with chalk board paint, great for an easy gift idea.

Robots invaded the art room

I did this as an after school project with the primaries, they loved it, I hot glued the cardboard together, they traced shapes, traced with sharpie, glued on some metallic then painted with green, then white then black.

Collaged Fruit

5th graders picked a fruit and collaged the colors from ripped magazine pages, using texted color was encouraged.

My Art Room

Artrageous Afternoon Art

Afterschool art project with primary grades, I let them design their t-shirts and one of them wrote an explicit, (I'm sure on accident) self portraits with shmarker (sharpie-marker) and crayon (6favorite colors)

Mother's Day Project

I bought my mother a little cupcake dish and lid for mom's day and made a paper cupcake to go inside, card and tag. Happy Mom's Day.
