Party Dress Garland Swap
I have seen a cute little garland made up of party dress that you can design, so I have started a swap. Here are some links to what it will look like when it's finished.

These little houses were for the 12 days of Christmas swap I did. They all got opened so I can post my pics now.
My latest postcard available on mailartworld.com. It's called "your mama wears combat boots."
A little collage of some hi-lights of the year. Can't believe it's almost over. It's been a good year. No complaints here.
and....did you go out shopping today? I did. It was pretty busy out there. I'll have to take some pics of what I got. Did you get anything good? Any really great deals? Let me know.

So I decided that I wanted to take some pictures of my favorite ornaments on my tree, some new this year and some really old ones too. And, behold there on the tree, a waffle. Someone decided to put breakfast leftovers on the tree. When I find out who it was there will be retaliation. What are some of your favorite ornaments, leave me a link.
Got together last week with the gals from the Red Bee Design team for some holiday cheer. What a creative bunch. I am so happy to be a part of this group. They are so inspirational to me. And I love the Red Bee.

Here is another creative idea (this one from my mom). This is a pinapple, grape and cheese bird. Cut a pinapple in half, the long way, leave the top on. Cut up the half you cut off. Add pinapple, cheese cubes and grapes with toothpicks and a bird of paradise for the head.
Christmas head wear, modeled by my co-workers. By the way, I won the biggest loser! 25 lbs in 11 weeks!

Need some cute craft ideas for the season. I love this paper quilling snowflake and Christmas tree. just wrap strips of paper around a wooden skewer or pencil and glue the end then glue them together. Pinch on the sides to make leaf shapes.
And this one is out of a coffee filter. Fold and cut like a snowflake and then mount onto a colored piece of paper, add details. Have fun.

Anthropologie Scarf
My friend Sheri had a really cute scarf on yesterday and so I took a picture of it. Turns out it was from Anthropologie, a store I love. So when I got home I went through my scarves and found one that I could alter. Here is a short tutorial.
Cut some long thin pieces of wool, or lace or ribbon and weave them in and out of the scarf holes about 6 inches from the end. Do this about 4 times with different colored wool. I used scissors to help the wool go in and out.
Tie knots on the ends of each wool piece.
Sew with a machine, layers of lace. Have them overlap each other all the way to the end of the scarf.
Repeat on the other end of the scarf.
Have your daughter model it for you. Let me know if you try this. I want to see yours.

Museum Art
Thanks to Julie's blog, I found this site that you can put your own artwork in a museum picture. This is what my art would look like in a museum. Not bad, if I do say so myself. Try it. It's fun.

Creative Stuff
doing my part to recycle, by collecting caprisun packages at the lunch tables, washing and drying them, then giving them to my mom to make caprisun purses. Aren't they cute. Get yours at Mistletoe Mall next week.
also at Mistletoe mall, magnets..... and......
there are just two weeks left in our biggest loser competition and I think I am in first place now. I have lost just about 20 lbs in 9 weeks. I have been riding the exercise bike everyday and eating lots of salads.
