Not much new here, just a few more weeks left of school and then off for the summer. Looking forward to the break. I have been cleaning out the artroom, it feels so good to get rid of some things. I have been hoarding for a while, now it's time to purge. Once I get all organized again, the creativity might return.

These are a nice little distraction. Emma's softball team needs a design for a pin they will take to their triple crown world series in Utah in July, so I have been using my photoshop skills a bit. Tell me which one you like better.

Haven't done much art lately, not in the mood I guess. These are a few favorites from last year. It's been hot here, and I am back to work. Getting ready for an art show this week and one at the end of May. Hope you are being creative.

I have been enjoying my spring break, going to lunch with dear friends. It's always nice to see your friends that you haven't seen in a while and the ones you see all the time too.
Emma and I went shopping today and she picked out this cute dress. It's not my favorite color, but it looks good on her. She is really into plaid right now.
and I got this at Target, I am going to make sun tea everyday starting tomorrow.
We went to the bookstore and hung out. It was very fun. Emma ended up wanting this book.

and I got this bag. I couldn't resist, it was calling my name.

I know that we get caught up in the day to day stuff and the shuffle of school and homework and dinner and just life in general, but in all that, I ask myself and you, are you being true to yourself? Are you taking care of you? If not, its about time, cuz you deserve it.

Happy Easter everyone. It has been a good one this year. We celebrated with friends on Saturday with Angela's annual Easter party. And then today we celebrated with family in the mountains. The kids took advantage of what we think will be the last snow of the year. In fact it was gone by the afternoon. I am blessed. Thank God for Easter, and for His Son, and for family and friends. God is good.

Glad to hear that the eggs are arriving safely. Hope they all make it by Easter. Busy with school and kids. Looking forward to Spring Break.

Okay, well I spent the day on the ball field yesterday, but first went to the post office and mailed all the egg swaps back out, so they should be back to you in a few days, hopefully before Easter. Thanks everyone who participated, and for the extra goodies for the host.

Okay egg swappers, do you see your envelope? If not I am sure it will be here today. I know that there are a few stragglers out there so I am going to see what comes in today and hopefully get them out by the weekend. In art teacher news, my 7th graders made huge bags of candy and stuffed them with plastic bottle caps so they shake like a real bag of candy, only they are about 1X2 feet. Sweet!
