2. When I was 22 I had my nose pierced. It lasted about a year. My grandfather called me a pygmy.
3. I've been to the Rose Parade 3 times.
4. I love Diet Sunkist.
5. I wish that I could yodel.
6. I have more clothes than I could ever wear.
7. I love a good deal.
Now I tag Kathy my swap partner and Allison Gibbs, and Jennifer from papelytijeras, any anyone else that wants to play along....

[layouts]
I don't think I posted these yet. I scrapped at the Bee last Friday, it was a busy weekend. I got a few layouts done. I had fun chatting with Denise and listening to all the scrap talk. The Craft and Hobbies Association Convention is coming up in February. I am super excited about going. I will see all the latest scrapbooking/art trends. I hope to get really inspired. It was at last year's show that I learned what artist trading cards were. Now I'm hooked.

Great Find
I am so excited about this too, I have to share. My school was getting rid of their library card catalog cabinet, just as I was walking by, and I asked if I could have it. So I brought it home and I am going to fill every drawer with supplies that need a good home. This will help me organize a bit. Preston leveled the top, and I think I am going to decoupage it. Any ideas for the top?

Birthday Greetings
I have had a great birthday day. It was really busy, so it just flew by. When I got home and all the homework help was finished I checked my mail and email. I had 8 envies come in for the mixed media heart swap on atcards.com, so I had to respond to all of those and I had about 10 e-cards in my email box. So it's now 11pm and I am ready to call it a night. Thanks for all the birthday wishes, it's been a great day. Oh, you should see my mailbox at school. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow.

One more day of the 30's
Today, I am celebrating the last day of my thirties. Tomorrow I'll enter a new decade of my life. I certainly don't feel almost 4 decades old. Notice I am not saying the number though. I don't feel old anyway. I just know when I was a teenager, 4-0 sounded so old. But today it's the new 3-0 right? Well, it's a holiday anyway, so I am celebrating. Off to the bookstore, costco and a thriftstore or two. Happy last day of thirty-something to me.

Altered What?
This was so much fun. When I was at the flea market last week I saw a cute jewelry holder that was altered. It was originally a mug holder and because I knew the vendor, she wouldn't sell it to me for $20. She said to get one at the thriftstore and paint it. So today I went to Goodwill and found this brown and green coffee mug holder for $2 and I painted it white, distressed it, and added the ribbon and of course all my necklaces and bracelets and voila a jewelry rack for all my beads and buttons. What have you altered lately?
